James Ijames in New York on April 6th with Blackboard Plays

We are excited to be partnering with Play Penn, who will be presenting an evening with Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright James Ijames in association with Philadelphia Theatre Company and Blackboard Plays in New York. If you’re unfamiliar, Play Penn is an artist-driven organization dedicated to the long-term development of new plays and playwrights.

So if you’re free on Monday, April 6 at 7:30 PM, please join us for an intimate conversation at The Drama Book Shop in midtown, with one of the most widely produced playwrights working in American theatre today.

James Ijames, best known for the Pulitzer Prize-winning Fat Ham, will be joined by Nancy Boykin and Kimberly S. Fairbanks in conversation moderated by PlayPenn Artistic Director Che’Rae Adams.
