LORI MINOR is October’s Feature Playwright with “The Coping Mechanism” – Catherine and Paul Harrison decided to support their daughter’s way of coping after a tragic accident, by keeping the spirit of her brother “alive” in their home through her imagination. However, over time, they’ve begun to realize that the choice isn’t helping them to move forward and may be hurting, more than healing their wounds.
Last February (2017), we featured Jordan E. Cooper’s “Ain’t No Mo’ “. This year we are pleased to share that “Ain’t No Mo’ ” is part of the Studio Series at The Public Theater.
Born and raised in Staten Island, N.Y., Shashone is an actor who simply got tired of working for free and having nothing to show for it. So she began writing, creating her own projects, not knowing that writing would quickly become her undeniable passion.
